Mission

 

The mission of Izmir University of Economics is to raise qualified graduates who are equipped with leadership qualifications, who can think entrepreneurially and critically, and to contribute to science with original research.

The vision of Izmir University of Economics is to be an outstanding higher education institution that leads the society with universal quality education and scientific research.

 

Campus Life

 

In the buildings located in 4 different blocks in the campus area, there are classrooms of various capacities with all kinds of visual and audio devices and internet connections. In the same buildings, there are various workshops and laboratories that are in use as a general purpose Anatomy Laboratory, Print Studio, Computer Laboratories, Biomedical and Instrumentation Laboratory, Biotechnology Laboratory. There are sports fields, dance halls and basketball courts where various activities can be done within the campus area. The dormitory building is also in the campus. Again in this area, there is an area where students can meet their food needs.

 

Student clubs

 

Active student clubs, the number of which is increasing every year, contribute to the development and growth of the university with the social activities and important organizations they carry out, and they also fulfill the task of protecting its prestige and its mission that is always young. In this direction, the Student and Corporate Activities Directorate is responsible for providing material and moral support and assistance to the activities of student societies. Thanks to the organizations of IEU Student Clubs, which have a wide coverage in the press, not only the quality education but also the social and active student-oriented youth face of the University is emphasized. Student Clubs exhibit the active social structure of the University in the best way possible.
